I'd wear a balaclava but having no nose opening means that the warm air coming out of my lungs fogs up my (prescription) glasses. This kind of mask does the trick.
I researched this recently: there's a type of gunk that you can smear on glasses to stop misting. It's called "Cat Crap" (really) and you can buy from places like REI.
