I met my friend at the flea market this morning. We were supposed to take a road trip to look at a Cannondale R600. He couldn't get a hold of the guy, so we didn't
want to drive all the way out there for nothing. My friend says, hey lets look at the other flea market down the road, since it was the typical Magnas and Huffy's this
weekend. I say sure, and we head out. We're walking along, and my friend goes "Hold up, WTH is that over there??" I look over and see no turkey levers, so already a
good sign. We get closer, and a "Holy C*ap!" escapes my lips before I know what I'm doing. Sitting in front of us is a Centurion Dave Scott. 84-85 by my best guess(Grey anodized RD's).
Full on friction Shimano 600, Tange 1 tubing, and looks to be all original except maybe the tires and wrap. A few rust spots on the top tube, but nothing that can't be repaired with a little
know how. We kind of didn't want to ask the price, because both of us know he is sometimes on the high end of fair.. We finally decide it can't hurt to ask, and the man Says
$125... I handed him the $40 I had in my pocket, and beat a path to the ATM machine a few hundred yards away at the entrance. Nope, not stolen either.. It came from
an estate sale.,,,,BD
Don't hate me cause I'm lucky, hehe

One of the best parts of the deal?? A Nitto Technomic, in the original non anodized finsh. It will be PERFECT for the Burley tandem. I have a
Cinelli stem/bar set. that will really spruce this one up.
