I also like that the Bailey Works bag has a shoulder strap that can be changed for left or right use. The only thing I'm thinking is that I should have gotten the small Bailey Works bag but I'll see soon enough if the size is right.
I tried an Ortlieb, but hated the strap. I also didn't like the fact that you couldn't 'overfill' it;on normal mess bags you can pack things over the top and just legthen the straps,or even just stuff things under the flap against the front of the bag. Can't do that with the Ortlieb's fold over flap and velcro-only closure. I have a med Bailey, and it holds a ton of stuff. Enough to haul groceries with. You'll appriciate the capacity if you ever need to carry alot.

I sold my T2 backpack for one of these because I wanted something that would be totally waterproof. I also liked the mesh straps better. But I wound up selling it and getting another T2 because I missed all the pockets. SealLine offers an accessory organiser, but it doesn't hold much, and without it you just have a single big space where whatever you want is at the bottom. Wish SealLine would add some pockets inside because I liked the strap system much better than friends' Ortlieb backpacks. Also wished they'd make a proper bright orange or yellow;the orange one I had was not bright at all.
