I only have one present C&V resto project going on, my Vitus Carbone Plus 7 restoration, and it's my first ever.
I got it as a full runner from eBay last fall
It turned into a full "Tout French" restoration project from where it started as just a Shimano 7400 DA clean-up/tune-up job.
The DA components were just too tired to come up with the quality project product that I want to achieve with the bike which is pretty much my dream French back from back in the 80's. Frame is in excellent shape and only required some cleaning and polishing. There's barely a nick or scratch on the whole frame Fork was a little bit more beat up, but it cleaned up real nice after applying some elbow grease.
I'm only a crankset, BB and pedals away from finishing the restoration. Unfortunately it might take a bit longer to get these because they're ending up to be costing the most money for this project....but I can't wait till the season starts next year and finally get to ride it!
