2. Flush and replace the ATF in my wife's BMW 528i automatic tranny. The GM-made box is supposed to be a lifetime fill. But they're all suffering from shifting at 100k miles

E39 or E34? The E39s can be flushed after 100K with no issues, but the E34s would need their rubber parts changed if you are planning on doing it after 100K miles. Just a heads up.
