Oh that's a good link to basically the same lock but with a square key at MEC.

I agree with you on the quality of Canadian Tire bike products. I was only looking at the bike locks they sell there as a secondary deterrent to my main Krpto U-Lock.

I really just want something to lockup the front wheel to the frame in addition to my standard U-Lock to the back wheel/frame/pole. It doesn't have to be the toughest lock ever, just something to make the thief move along.

In fact, the best idea for this i've found is the handcuff bike lock. The name is not coming to mind right now? I understand their inherent weakness and the mixed review they've had, but i'm ok with that. Just want the thief to move along to the next bike.
