Mixing Dura-Ace and Record
A couple of months ago me and a buddy of mine built up an 06 Tarmac using both dura-ace and record mainly because it was all I had available and needed a spare bike. Heres the setup:
DA components: Brakes, chainrings/crankset, FD
Record components: Shifters, RD, chain, cassette
Everything has been running smooth so far but I just had a few questions that I was hoping someone could help with. First, because I have a DA chainring, will the record chain cause it to wear down faster? Also, would it be possible to change the Record chain and cassette to DA? Thanks
