I just made my own straps out of some roll of canvas tie strap or something. It's like 1+1/2 inches wide and more than strong enough. I split it down the middle to create to strips on the bottom half and left a sold strip on the top. Then just wove the two strips through the bottom of my pedal and sowed them to the top. Sowing wasn't a good solution since now they only fit 1 pair of shoes and it took me like 8 tries between the two pedals to get them right. I couldn't decide on a better free alternative though. If I had a camera handy I'd snap some pics.
