I want to kill myself after 30 minutes. 40-45minutes is probably my average. I think I did an hour once, but the sweat was really becoming an issue, with sweat dripping onto my shoes and then flinging forward. I view the trainer as a way to keep moving when it's dark, rainy, or I am just too pressed to get in a good outdoor ride. I don't use it to do intervals or anything crazy (or productive, probably).
