Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I've just recently started using my KK trainer since it's been raining here all week. The most I can stand is about 40 minutes! LOL.

Are any of you able to use the computer or play video games while riding? If so, how do you do it?

There's a guy on another forum who does 4-5 hours one day each week. He lives in Canada with lots of snow.

I switched my bikes from my aluminum framed Cannondale to my steel framed fixed gear Motobecane and the difference is much quieter, and gives me a better workout.

1 hr is the max so far. I just got the trainer a week or so ago and I'm just getting over the flu.

I've been listening to audio books or music, otherwise, as others have pointed out, it would be mind numbingly boring.

Time passes very quickly when doing intervals. Actually, the intervals take forever but the rests go by in a blink

I just got off after 2hr10min. Milan-San Remo Tacx Real Life Video. and no, I didn't make it to the end, I stopped at the top of the Cypressa. I got other things to do. I think I could have finished the Poggio, though.

Must not totally suck.

iPhone during rest time. if you have the ability to do other things when the majority of your time on the trainer then you are waisting that time. later.

I've done about 2 1/2 hrs in a day, 1:50 in one sitting. 80 minutes is my upper preference.
