Max Time On The Trainer

Max Time On The Trainer
What's the longest amount of time you've gone on the trainer in one session?
What's your average length of time on your trainer?

all time? I've done a LOTR movie (3+hrs) on the rollers. That was a couple years ago though, and I really don't want to do that again.... I know there are folks here who (routinely?) do Trainer Centuries. I'm not one of those....

I once put in about 2 1/2 hours in one trainer session. Gads that's mind numbing. Lately, 45 minutes to an hour is all I can stand. I am not as motivated this year.

Bikes: aggressive agreement is what I ride.
I want to kill myself after 30 minutes. 40-45minutes is probably my average. I think I did an hour once, but the sweat was really becoming an issue, with sweat dripping onto my shoes and then flinging forward. I view the trainer as a way to keep moving when it's dark, rainy, or I am just too pressed to get in a good outdoor ride. I don't use it to do intervals or anything crazy (or productive, probably).

One hour. Maybe once I did an hour and a half a few years ago.
But then again, I've only been on the trainer maybe five times over the past year.

90 minutes is the max I can recall doing. I used to watch my online classes and ride the trainer, it was pretty good multitasking... and my mind wandered much less when I was on the trainer.

2.5 hrs on the rollers is the longest I've been able to tolerate. Average is probably 1.5 hrs. I'm picking up some e-motion rollers this weekend with the hope of making the 3-4 hr roller rides that I have scheduled for base more comfortable/tolerable.

I do a once a week 3-4 hour ride on my Tacx Fortius virtual trainer (usually mountain rides) and usually with a football game on my second TV.
I have done the Spinervals Harcore Hundred a few times (5 1/2 hours).
There is no other way to maintain aerobic endurance in the Wisconsin winters. I could never do this to with just movies or music though.

I've always gone about 40-45 mins or so
These past two weeks i've been trying to do 1.5 hours, to try to get some good base. After like 10 mins i'm just counting down the minutes till i'm done. Longest i've made it so far is about an hour and 45 mins.

Over the years I've collected various Grand Tour DVDs, TDF, Giro, Vuelta. Watching them helps take your mind off the clock.
But the clock is a very important tool, especially when doing intervals.

I've been able to do 2 1/2 hours without too much boredom.
I've found that watching the right thing makes the time go by quickly. I watched La Femme Nikita during my first winter of real training, and Highlander (TV show) during my second. This year it's Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Having specific workouts helps. Pure endurance pace is fairly dull, but throwing in tempo intervals or bursts or something helps.
