No experience with that light but isn't that part of a package system? The tail light is nothing more then the Mars 1.0 and it's not a very good tail light. I have the Mars 4.0 and that thing is freakin bright with a 1 watt red led for the rear and 2 amber side leds for side illumination that most lights forget about; and after a year of commuting in weather it's still holding up just fine for only $20-a great deal!!

The head light in that 1.0 package is also weak, the Planet Bike Blaze 2 watt would be better for about $42. A good thing about this light is you could use it a long time, then later when you decide you need a brighter light you could still use this as flasher alongside your brighter light. Flashers on the front are a good thing because it attracts attention to you before they see the headlight.

There are brighter headlights then those I just mentioned but it looked like your trying to stay in a budget, just don't go too cheap because your well being is at risk.
