I'm tired of my single bike being so much less comfortable than my tandem notwithstanding the relative harshness of the Al single. The tandem handlebars are approximately level with the saddle. I've got a 3" or so drop on the single. Single top tube is a bit longer, but easily compensated by stem length. In fact the saddle-to-handlebar length of the single is actually a bit less than the tandem. So, I want to raise the single bars about 2". What's the "best" way to do this: high angle stem or stem riser? Both will "work", but it appears that I'll be more easily be able to tune my position with a riser; there imply is not that much choice in a high angle stem and I don't want an adjustable stem. Any input would be appreciated.
