Today's commute was my first ride since last Friday when I took a long meandering ride home in the falling snow. The roads from my home in NW Arlington into Rosslyn were clear enough that the ride should have been easy. Unfortunately, too many commuters were driving in causing major traffic jams on Washington Blvd, Quincy at Fairfax and from Courthouse all the way down Clarendon/Wilson to Key Bridge.

Instead of cycling on the W&OD, I've been cross-country skiing there. Here is sunset on the 6th at the 3 milepost in Bluemont Park and at the 2.5 milepost in Glencarlyn.
