btw: post this on another thread and you'd get a different response. all in all, I find it interesting to get many viewpoints with certain "questions" Sometimes I find myself posting in counter-intuitive forums knowing that the viewers might be more informative or responsive because it has more viewers, etc

- road riding = high performance experts (cool)
- commuters = inventive and a bit whack! (fun)
- mechanics = incredibly knowledgeable - amazing knowledge base here (a lifesaver)
- 50+ = what we will be like if we stay healthy and keep riding. the wisest of the wise (comforting)
- classic and vintage = they won't ridicule you for having an old bike and they are very accepting of whatever you ride. amazing what restorations this group gets into - again a huge knowledge base (like the 50+ crowd meets mechanic-ville)
- electronics and gadgets = great place to find ways to spend your money (where I learned about MagicShine)

- I guess I can keep going on this tangent but since I have ADD from chewing windowsills as a kid I'm bored now
