it seems like op's goal was to not gain weight during the time of year he spends on the trainer, winter i'd imagine, roughly 90days.
for the goal, this seems great.
i also gain weight in the winter. up to 15 lb, but most of that is gone within the first month or two of my getting in more than 3 rides a week.
