That depends on what a sharp turn is. I didn't say a street corner or alley way. I'm talking about something like a perpendicular street crossing on a downhill country road with no sidewalks. It's only reckless if it's outside of your comfort zone and ability. Sometimes I misjudge by a little and that's when I go on the shoulder. It's a calculated risk.
