What is going on here? I've never had two falls within a six month period...never. Yet, this morning on my commute in to work I hit a patch of snow that I rode through yesterday and went down hard. Yesterday there was no ice under the snow. Today, I guess because of melting and then freezing at night, there was ice. So, even with the studded tires the front wheel kicked out, and down I went. The worse part is that a fall like this morning's wouldn't have even raised and eyebrow 5 years ago. But I know I'm gonna have some nasty bruises and be very sore tomorrow morning. I guess the only good thing was that there was no one around to see me go down.
