I have been looking for a light weight pant that is minimally water resistant that I can wear for daily comutes over my office clothes. Basically, I would like a pant that protects against spray from wet roads to keep dress pants clean and are easy / quick to get in and out of.

I have seen lots of heavy duty breathable rain pants for cycling but these are far in excess of my needs. Does the sort of pant I am looking for exist?
