That cost me almost $30.
Your "bargain bin" tires I have used, specifically the CST Comp, Continental Ultra Race, Vittoria Zaffiro, or my stock IRO Duros, have each lasted LESS than two weeks MAX (only the CST has set that record).
These will each cost me between $15 to $20.
I guess you can argue that I should put on a brake, or skid less, or whatever, but based on my experiences, the Randonneur has performed better for skidding than ANY of those "bargain bin" tires.
So for my type of riding, I think I'll stick with the Randos.
