Basically just replacing worn-out parts this year -- new SRAM 970 cassette, 951 chain, new Race Face rings, new BB7's (7f, 7r again -- hoo-rah!), and resurrected the old Evolve-X crank w/ the external BB -- awfully stiff bearings this time; may go back to the old crank with the new rings if it doesn't work out.

The bike is all nice and pretty again; took it down to the bare frame and cleaned/wiped everything, repacked the headset, even flushed out the main frame tubes. Road salt can be a bear.... Y'know what? Kinda like the ZS headsets now.

Put the North Shore lock-ons back on the bar last week -- why do they feel so much better than they did before? Hmmm...................................................
