I used that computer for many years and the battery never wore out. I think it is a very good computer and it will give you what you need. And even better, it stops counting average speed and ride time when you are at 0.0 mph, so for average speed it is good. It updates quickly, and the Onetouch (something along those lines) is very easy to use, and easy to reset.
