OK here is my question. I can see how this would be super awesome IF

1. I was driving an armored truck AND
2. I wanted to enter at point 4 and exit at point 5.

Pretty nifty. Get on at point 4, slowly spiral inwards without having to switch lanes, then magically get off where I wanted.

But what if - and I know I am probably crazy - I wanted to get on at point 4 and exit at point 2? How many lanes would I have to switch over? Too many and I spiral into a hole of death, much like the errant star that wanders too close to a black hole. Not enough lanes and I pass my exit - then invariably spiral into someplace I do not want to go.

If they ever build this disaster in South Florida - the population will get a lot smaller really fast. The bodies would pile up sky high, and there would be a whole lot of really cheap scrap steel just laying around. You will all be able to see the fires from the pile of burning cars clear to Canada.
