Calm the hell down dude, ianjk is right. You even said it in your post, "...it just looks alot cleaner without brakes..." Don't kid yourself, you definitely care about how it looks, whether you'd call it "sweet" or "clean" or whatever.

Just get the front brake. Skidding will stop you but it will take far more distance to stop than with a brake. And when you're about to hit a dog/child/car/bike you aren't going to have the luxury of that distance, no matter how good you are at skidding. And even if you don't care if you get hurt, you put other people in danger when you're riding out there brakeless, so at least do it for everyone else.
