some of the mash guys are riding... hold on to your neon deep v's... road bikes, I've ran into a few, that I know of, because they were in- wait for it.... wait for it.... SPANDEX mash kits while out riding in the areas surrounding SF frequented by roadies. I actually raced a few crits against one or two of them, or at least people who had a mash kit on, early this season. I can tell you that the ones I've come across are some seriously strong cyclists... especially the one who epicly dropped me climbing out of sausalito up to the golden gate bridge into a headwind, he was ridiculous.

point being I wouldn't put it past these, I guess you'd call them urban fixie pro's, to be monsters in other types of cycling.
