well, i guess this should be in the value thread but it seems on one looks at that. anyway, i have an older adr - slx - bottecchia, you know, the gross looking purple with neon yellow. well, i kind of like it but i've been buying alot of bikes lately and this one may have to leave the stable. my friend rode it the other day and fell in love with it and wants to buy it. now as far as what i should ask? like to give him a fair deal but not too cheap. the main thing is....what is the value of the croce d aune group? now i figure it to be worth around 4-5 hundred. i think he figures it around three hundred. the groupo is in really nice shape with the delta brakes and the levers very very nice shape. he wants the bike for around 5 hundred but to my way of thinking, thats the value of just the group. would a fair price be , say, 7-800.00 like i was thinking or am i dreaming? not much infor. on prices of croce d aune group sets. he is quite a bike expert and says that the croce d aune was not a good group as far a functionality and thats why it didnt last long. he may be right, but they are kind of rare i believe. any help appricated as always!!!
