A friend turned me on to Hammer Heed last Fall. On the CP rides, I forgot to take extra powder for a ride and had to used their powerade/gatoride and it was soo sweet it almost made me sick. You need to drink what ever you have trained with. I also carry the Hammer powder in my jersey for the rest stops to add to new water. Water by itself does not provide what your body is using and needs to replenish. We are going to have a much warmer MS150 than we had training rides, so hydrate while riding. You need to drink 20-24 ozs. of fluid every hour - and soft drinks do not count.
Everyone is winding down their MS150 training, so stay safe, only a little over a week left.
