My bike shop was out of stock on my usual ultegra chain for my 6600 9 speed drivechain, so they sold me a deore xl 9 speed chain and said no problem I could use it. Now I am thinking they were to lazy to order one so just pasted me what they had in stock? Question is, is there a difference as one is a road bike chain and the other is mountian bike?
