Correct, the 105 parts for a '91 had a grey colored painted finish and had dual pivot brake calipers. Those polished 105 parts are definitly earlier than the bike. I do think that Wolber GTX rims were original for cannondale of that age, might be that the hubs that are laced to the wheels are original and so might give a indication to what parts were orginally on the bike?

The criterium model frames had steeper geometry and they also had a larger diameter downtube for an even stiffer and less forgiving ride.
