t-town is greener cause of me. Met the Japanese folks who had the keirin frames and various used track supplies. Bought 14 chainrings from them. Passed on sugino 75 crankarms at a c-note
pr. Nice people though.
scored two spinergy spox front wheels. love those large diameter flanges. reminds me of the level hubs for sheer size. though the Levels are even more substantial.
nice folks at stand with Trek sunshade had a Moser road frameset from 2000 for a c note and a cool Nishiki earlier time trial/areo frameset for, get this, 10 bongo congos. Both found their way to my pickup truck. Maybee I'll build a conversion fixie out of one or both.
scored various road related supplies.... a campy record 10 spd rear derailleur for eighty bucks... a pair of chorus 10 speed tubular wheels... have a cinelli unica that I want to someday finish up.
you guys see criteriumUSA... they had Michelin speediums for ten bucks a throw... I now have enough spare tires to last till i'm eighty.
in all I left t-town about nine c-notes to their green
cool stuff, beautiful day.... nice people.
