I ran into the guy I got the bike from and asked him where/when he got it. He said he picked it up about a month ago. He has no recollection of where he got it.

It also has CLB brakes with a red "racer" logo and a very, very old B17 saddle.

I took a slightly closer look at the fork and it's likely the original from the frame. It looks funace brazed, high volume. The chrome is a fitted cap. It looks to be either modified or repaired however.
