the reason i asked if you did it fixed or not was more of a demographic one, as due to other threads many members have other bikes besides their fixed gears. I was the only one on the ride i was on that chose to ride fixed, although apparently some of the older roadies actually beast on fixed drivetrains quite often. It was just a weird experience not getting messed with by roadies for riding fixed as opposed to gears and wearing cut-offs and a t-shirt. one guy actually was impressed by it, or at least appeared to be. it was just a surreal / cool / but very solemn experience.

as to powers2b statement, riding so slow definitely made a lot of motorists angry here, however it was weird essentially doing a critical mass but being escorted by police while doing so. blowing lights with the long arm of the law enabling me to do so was kind of cool.
