and, here's my recent catch...mid-80s Murray "Touring Series" 3-speed...fetched from the shed in a co-worker's folks' back yard. Kind of a shame, it's pretty much perfect so obviously wasn't used. i think i'm gonna graft the running gear with one of the '50s/60s cruiser frames i have & build something fairly useless but fun with the pieces....
Yeah I have/had a lot of Schwinns but none with that frame design. I think I am going service it clean the chrome and return it back to him with his Haro because he really wants 2 bikes and I think he would like this when I am done with it. I was riding it around last night the way it is and it rides nice and smooth with the big tires,if he doesn't want it after I am done then it will stay in my collection for anybody to use.
