hello again. yes, this Schmidt/Pedalpower+ combination is an excellent method for charging your Iphone and small electronic devices :-)(-:, and very expensive (around $800) but it provides complete independent electrical freedom. you can get a handlebar mount for the battery pack, but i opted for the extension cord to carry it over my shoulder in my backpack. the quality is excellent, and i am completely satisfied with both the product and the company selling them. ride for life and be happy.
