This thread is relevant to my interests.

I'll be interning in NYC all summer and I'm going to bring my bike. I know the city pretty well but not on a bike. Obviously there is central park (the only place I've ridden in the city), and I'll check out the greenways. One question though...is it possible to ride Broadway all the way to the north/south country trailway without too much incident? I looked it up and it seems like a nice long ride.

Riding through traffic is always fun but I'm also looking for a good stretch of mindless riding when I need to chillax.
