yeah i no it could have been much much much worse, luckily one of the ladies screamed which really made me relies that the car was turning and i should have just passed on the left but it was like a high speed single lane road that endeds up being if a cyclist tries to go more then half a foot from the shoulder (without going about 30 mph) people get very annoyed, so i made the stupid assumption that i could get away with passing on the right. probably the worst part though was the next mile and a half i was still a little shocked up so my legs really didn't want to respond to pedaling haha
