I have some Vittoria Zaffiros on my bike (27 x 1 1/8). I could not tell you if they resist puncture specifically (normally good at avoiding dangerous things), but I do ride around NYC quite a bit and have not had a flat on these tires (a few hundred miles in). I definitely like them so far, and think they are worth giving a shot.
