Gave up my commute for my daughter
I am feeling kind of bummed out today because I ran out of time this am and had to drive the 9 miles to work. Now it is 70 degrees outside and I have to drive back home.
I was headed out the door this morning when my 16 month old daughter woke up. When I went to hand her over to her mother, she wanted to snuggle. We lounged for 10 minutes or so, blowing my chances to ride my bike. It is going to suck driving home but that was a great 10 minutes this morning. Life is good.
