Good job, man! Too many fathers leave the child rearing to the mother, and they don't take enough time to enjoy moments like that. I don't have kids, but I have nephews, and I don't even take a moment to think about it if they want to hang with me in the morning. A ride is not as satisfactory to me as hanging with my nephews and getting lots of loooooove from them. One morning, I was laying in bed and the older one was standing over me and whispering "I love you auntie" in my ear. Then he would give me a big kiss on my cheek. He did that about 5 times. Who am I to resist that? No riding... just hung out on the sofa all morning and chatted.
Kids can sometimes make your day, man.
