Hi guys,
I just bought a 1975 Takara mixte that the only necessary replacement was the tires (very good find I thought). The tires say "27 x 1 1/8 (27 x 1 1/4 Fifty)" and I was wondering what size I should buy? I've read else where that either size will work on 1 1/4 rims, but I guess this designation confused me so that I'm not sure exactly what size this is...does anyone know why they would do this?
