I have been slow cooking some rump roast with a packet of "Italian" salad dressing spices and some beef stock all day to make a Chicago delicacy: Italian beef. I also bought some fresh 'hard" rolls and a yellow onion and a couple of bell peppers to saute to add on.
It isn't as good as the real thing from my youth, but it will do.
