Surely there are some of you younger guys in here that have a few pairs of well worn skinny jeans that are forming some kind of roadie tendencies...watching what you eat a bit more. Buying a bike computer, maybe buying an aluminum bike etc.

Roadie is the new hipster, really I saw one the other day. Full hipster kit but on a really pimp road bike.
Anyway, I myself swore off spandex. It wasn't until before my trip that a friend of mine urged me to give it a shot. I now only have padded shorts. I do have a couple pair of regular underwear for those rare times im not gonna be riding my bike. I am fortunate to have a 2nd hand gear store not far from my house so nice shorts cost me $5, bibs $10 and jerseys $10-$20. Though, I'm really not a jersey wearer. I swear by clipless pedals, have since the first day. I am a bit of a roadie but minus the tude most of them have. I also prefer my fix.
