Ditto the aethetics.. Aluminum especially thin wall is prone to denting.. no big deal. If you want to get rid of the dents (and again a pic or two would be helpful) you ill most likely just fill them. I like JBWeld epoxy. But any kind of filling will have you take the area down to the metal. Are you willing to sand it down, fill it and then repaint the area? That's really what it is going to take. Otherwise just ride it.
but there is a picture? i edited the original post so its wayyy up there i could care less about the cosmedics, but if it would be more structurally safe, i would take the time to do so.
