miles and miles
This is probably not a big deal to a lot of you, but for the first time yesterday I rode 100 miles in a day. It felt great, awesome, just to know that I could do it. The day couldn't of been better too. Living in Kansas the temperature is usually always in the 100's or 90's, but yesterday it was high 70's, low 80's and the humidity was low, and I kept an average speed of 17 mphs. It definitely gave me a new perspective and respect for professional riders. I don't know how they can go for several days riding more miles and having such a higher average speed. I definitely made myself suffer going over the rolling hills, and I think I am going to need a couple days of rest now.
