Wow, that is one serious hit. Glad you're ok. I doubt I would have been able to get off with just some scrape and bruise if that happen to me. One thing I decided was to run double rear blinkie and double front light. I figure if I ever get hit and one set of light get destroy in the process, hopefully the second set of light will survive the collision and give warning to motorist of my presence if I was unable to get up.
What bugs me most is that here in CA, I think the law say that those motorist suppose to assist if possible. The least they have to do is to be sure of your well being.
