If you can manage to find that kind of pricing on a regular basis...I'm impressed. I can't. I think to build that frame up for most people...with a Superbe group...he'll be in at least $750 when all is said and done, even with the market hurting.
A superbe group sold buy it now on ebay for $500 last week...it didn't last long either. That still leaves wheels, bars and stem....housings...tape and cables.
Gotta agree with this. You may be able to do it with enough time and patience (or connections), but it seems you'd be pretty hard pressed to build that bike for $500 all-in.
