Nah, just how on Shimano, you seem to have more positions for your hands on the hoods. I probably feel most comfortable with the palm or the heel of my hands into the ends of the curve of the hoods (I ride ultegra) which you can't do on Campag. Or at least I couldn't on the 20km I rode a Centaur equiped bike before I bought my Roubaix. It was my first modern roadbike at the time so I had no brand loyalty, or even brand snobbery in general.
