From what I can see, those definately look like SPD-SL's. I would keep those on there and get some road shoes w/cleats. It will completely blow away using BMX pedals as far as efficiency. Once you go clipless, you will not go back to platform or toe clips. If you still think you don't want those pedals, send me a PM, I'll take them off your hands. Heck, I will trade you a nice set of toe clip pedals that are in new condition for them.
