For me it's the bend that has constant radius. I have really big hands and the roundness of the drop creates two big pressure points, where the flat section mid curve or ergo drops accommodates my hands. Resting my hands on the lower end of the curve where it flattens out, causing me to drop down even more makes my hands go numb and creates pain in my shoulder very fast.

My simple question which some seem to have glossed over is a shorter reach the answer or a shorter stem for best fit when going for a track bar that works for your fit? Not a roadie question, not a track question but using these bars on the street. In the real world. No drugs.

There is no problem with an adult conversation about this as opposed to the typical BF pissing contest. Let's keep it on topic.
