I don't understand the absolute need for double grooves? I have ran Campy and Sram on those bars for years.

Also, if you can't make the transition from bar to shifter flat on a Deda shallow, you need to work on it a bit. Those bars (either the 215 or the Newton) are perfect for flat transitions to Campy levers. I currently have Deda Newton, Ritchey WCS Classic, Easton EC90 Equipe Pro Classic, Rotundo Team, and Control Tech Vento bars on bikes with either Campy or Sram.... they all are classic drops and all have flat transitions to their hoods. (Without tilting the bottom of the bars up)
